Circle of confusion (sensor)
Hyperfocal H = f²/(N·c) + f. Near limit Dn = s(H−f)/(H + s − 2f); far limit Df = s(H−f)/(H − s), taken as infinity when the subject is at or beyond the hyperfocal distance. Distances and the focal length are in the same unit internally (mm); the circle of confusion is in mm. Standard sensor CoC values are presets; enter a custom one for other formats or a personal sharpness standard. Everything runs locally — nothing leaves your browser.
