Grade Calculator
Two student helpers in one. Weighted average averages your assignment or category scores with their weights (homework, quizzes, exams, etc.). Final-needed tells you the score you must get on the final exam to reach a target overall grade, given your current average and the final's weight. Runs entirely in your browser.

Weighted average = Σ(score × weight) ÷ Σ(weight). Weights don't need to sum to 100 — they're normalized. Final-needed uses: required = (target − current × (1 − w)) ÷ w, where w is the final's weight as a fraction. A result above 100% means the target is out of reach; below 0% means you've already exceeded it. Scores are percentages (0–100). Confirm your syllabus weighting. Runs locally.
