Hydration Schedule Planner

This tool does not calculate or recommend how much you should drink. Enter only a target you have already chosen. Drinking too much fluid too quickly can be dangerous. If you have kidney or heart disease, a prescribed fluid restriction, swelling, low sodium, take medicines affecting fluid balance, are pregnant, or are unsure about an appropriate amount, follow your clinician’s guidance before using a schedule. Seek medical help for concerning symptoms.

Distribute your own daily fluid target across waking hours, with optional meal or activity emphasis.

Schedule settings

Types are meal or activity. Events add a scheduled opportunity and modestly shift the fixed target toward that time; they do not increase the target. Maximum 20 events.

Allocation model: The selected target is fixed. Base opportunities are created from wake time at the chosen interval, before bedtime. Meal and activity lines add opportunities with weights of 1.25 and 1.5. Even mode gives base opportunities equal weight; front-weighted mode gradually decreases base weight from 2 to 1. Volumes are floored to the chosen increment, then full increments are assigned by largest fractional remainder; any final sub-increment remainder is placed in the last opportunity so totals remain exact. Container equivalents are descriptive fractions only. This is planning math, not medical guidance, and the schedule does not advise changing the entered target or consuming a volume when it conflicts with symptoms or clinical instructions.
