Image Dithering & Color Quantization
Reduce an image to a limited palette and apply dithering — Floyd–Steinberg, Atkinson, ordered (Bayer 4×4 / 8×8), or none — with classic palettes (1-bit black & white, Game Boy, CGA, EGA, PICO-8, web-safe, Apple II, ZX Spectrum) or your own custom colors. Great for retro graphics, print, e-ink, and pixel-art workflows. The image is processed on a local canvas — nothing is uploaded.

Floyd–Steinberg and Atkinson are error-diffusion dithering (diffuse quantization error to neighbors); ordered dithering uses a Bayer threshold matrix for a regular halftone pattern. Downscale first for chunky pixels — set the factor above 1. Image never leaves your browser.
