Impulse Response Analyzer
Inspect bounded PCM or IEEE-float WAV impulse responses locally.
Diagnostic signal analysis only: this tool does not certify rooms, measurements, standards compliance, or acoustic treatment. Results depend on capture chain, source, noise, preprocessing, band limits, and fit qualification.
WAV input
Preprocessing: selected/mixed channel → trim → optional peak alignment → optional time-domain biquad band-pass → squared samples → subtract estimated stationary tail-noise power per sample (floor at zero) → backward Schroeder integration → normalize to 0 dB.

Waveform and energy decay
Blue: normalized waveform. Orange: Schroeder decay from 0 to −60 dB. Curves are decimated for display only.
Qualified decay regressions
EDT fits 0…−10 dB and extrapolates to −60 dB; T20 fits −5…−25; T30 fits −5…−35. Each requires at least 10 points, a negative slope, R² of at least 0.9000, the complete fit range, and the lower bound at least 5 dB above the estimated noise floor. “RT60” below is the −60/slope extrapolation for the named fit, not a certification.
