Molarity M = n/V is moles of solute per liter of solution. Dilution M₁V₁ = M₂V₂ keeps the amount of solute constant when you add solvent. pH = −log₁₀[H⁺] measures acidity on a 0–14 scale (25 °C, where pKw = 14 and pOH = 14 − pH).
