Pace Zone Planner

Apply editable percentage bands to a threshold value you enter, with pace and speed shown as exact inverse conversions.

Non-medical, non-prescriptive: This tool performs unit and percentage math only. Preset names and bands are illustrative organizational labels, not individualized training zones, workout advice, safety clearance, or a recommendation to exercise at any intensity. Choose inputs and activity decisions independently, and seek qualified guidance when appropriate.

Bands apply to speed, not pace. Because pace is inverse, the faster maximum-speed boundary becomes the lower pace time shown first.

Math conventions: A 100% boundary equals the entered/derived threshold speed. For a band from L% to H%, speed is threshold × L% through threshold × H%; pace is displayed in the reverse boundary order: distance ÷ (threshold × H%) through distance ÷ (threshold × L%). The example interval column applies the same bounds to the entered distance and is only a conversion example, not a suggested interval or training prescription. Rounding affects display only; exports include higher-precision values.
