Reverberation Time (RT60) Calculator
Estimate the reverberation time (RT60 — the seconds for sound to decay 60 dB) of a room from its volume and the absorption of its surfaces, using both the classic Sabine formula and the more accurate Eyring formula. Add each surface with its area and an absorption coefficient (common materials are preset), and the tool totals the absorption, the average coefficient, and both RT60 values, then suggests whether the room suits speech, music or neither. Pure arithmetic, in your browser.
