Speaker Delay Alignment Calculator
Estimate acoustic arrival differences and translate ideal delay into device steps and audio samples.
Commissioning estimate—not a substitute for measurement or safe system setup. This model uses direct path distance only; it excludes loudspeaker/processor latency, phase and crossover behavior, driver offsets, reflections, wind, temperature gradients, audience geometry, and level differences. Delay cannot make an already-late acoustic path arrive earlier. Verify with suitable measurement tools and qualified system practice. Protect hearing and follow applicable sound-level limits during testing.
Paths or direct difference
Up to 100 unique paths. Distance uses the selected metric/imperial unit.
Negative means this speaker is closer/earlier and can be delayed. Positive means it is already later and would require impossible negative delay.
