Random Team Assigner

Split a list of names into balanced teams at random — for classrooms, sports, games, or secret-santa groups. Enter names (one per line or comma-separated), choose the number of teams, and assign with a Fisher–Yates shuffle followed by a round-robin deal so teams differ in size by at most one. An optional numeric seed makes the draw reproducible. Everything runs locally in your browser.
